1. Shipping of Repaired Items
Upon completion of repairs, GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd will notify the customer at least 24 hours prior to dispatch. This notification will include details of the outstanding balance, covering the costs of repairs, shipping, and optional insurance, as well as the estimated delivery timeframe.
Customers are required to make full payment for the repair services, shipping, and any chosen insurance before the dispatch of their item. Payment can be made via the methods specified in our payment policy. Failure to provide timely payment may result in delays in the shipment.
2. Customer Responsibility for Insurance
The customer bears sole responsibility for arranging and paying for adequate insurance coverage when returning items to GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd for repair. The customer must ensure that all shipments are properly insured to cover potential loss or damage during transit. GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd assumes no liability for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit if they are not adequately insured by the customer.
For shipments dispatched from GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd back to the customer, insurance is optional but highly recommended. Should the customer opt for insured shipping, the additional cost will be included in the final invoice. Customers who choose not to insure their return shipments assume all risks associated with transit, including potential loss or damage.
3. Return of Items
Once repairs are completed and full payment is received, GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd will arrange for the return of the customer’s item to the designated address. Customers will receive a notification with tracking information and the estimated delivery date once dispatch is confirmed.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they or an authorized person is available to receive the shipment on the estimated delivery date. GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd is not liable for any delays or issues arising from missed deliveries.
4. Liability and Claims
GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd takes all reasonable measures to ensure that repaired items are securely packaged and that shipping arrangements meet industry standards. However, the company is not liable for any loss or damage incurred during transit, whether outgoing or incoming, if insurance is not purchased.
If a customer experiences an issue with a shipment, they should notify GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd promptly and submit a claim directly with the carrier. For insured shipments, our team will assist in completing the claims process.
5. Unclaimed Items and Payment
If a customer fails to make payment for the repair services and associated shipping fees within 30 days of notification, GsmHelp Electronics Workshop Ltd reserves the right to retain the item until full payment is received. After an additional 30 days without payment, totaling 60 days, the item may be disposed of or sold to recover costs, in compliance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 and relevant UK laws governing unclaimed property.
Under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977, businesses have the right to dispose of unclaimed goods after providing reasonable notice to the owner. This policy, therefore, grants a total period of 60 days (30 days for initial payment and an additional 30-day grace period) before any disposal actions are taken. The customer will be notified and given sufficient opportunity to claim the item and fulfill any outstanding financial obligations before such actions occur.
